With less than five days to go until Christmas 2013 arrives in everyone’s living rooms, I think it’s safe to finally say that we are officially in “last-minute” Christmas shopping mode. If you’ve already finished – high five; if you haven’t even started yet, put down Uncle Clark’s eggnog and pull the laziness out of your you know what, because it’s time to get down to business. That special gamer on your list, who you have been neglecting the last few weeks, needs something cool next Wednesday, so let’s get down to business.
Amazon Alert: The Last of Us Price Drop
If you receive Amazon’s email blasts then you may already be aware of this shockingly-enticing price tag, but if you haven’t, let me get right to the point and state that The Last of Us, as in the Game of the Year, is only $34.99. $34.99!!! If you just walked away to get more eggnog, then you may already be too late, because as of the writing of this email, Amazon has only 3 left at this wicked good price, so get on it! Free two-day shipping too – how can you beat that?
I’ll tell you how you can beat that: with another insane Amazon deal!
Command & Conquer: Ultimate Edition
Command & Conquer – the entire series, but especially Red Alert – holds a special place in my gaming heart, and is arguably, in the case of Red Alert, my favorite game of all-time. Folks, Amazon has 17 Command & Conquer titles for only $4.99. Five bucks for 17 titles – that’s only 29 cents per game! All you need is an EA Origins account, which is free, and you can start downloading RTS heaven (well, your gamer can come Christmas morning, or whenever you want to give him probably the best gift of all-time.) You’re welcome!
LFG – Yep, I Said LFG!
If you really want to hook up your favorite gamer this Christmas, then hook her or him up with a one, three, or six month subscription to LFG Dating! While we don’t do e-cards quite yet, all you have to do is tell them you’re hooking them up with an account, and you’ll subscribe them with either your credit card – or you could simply give ’em one of those pre-paid Visa debit cards and they can do it all on their own. How easy is that?
